Toyota Roomy

The Toyota Tank also called Daihatsu Thor and Subaru Justy is a mini MPV and was introduced on 9 November 2016 as the successor of the Ractis and BB. It was designed and manufactured by Daihatsu and sold by Daihatsu, Toyota and Subaru. It is a 5-seater mini MPV based on the third generation Boon and its rebadged version Passo.

The Toyota Roomy is the twin counterpart of the Toyota Tank. It uses the same 1.0-liter 1KR-FE as the Passo. The Roomy is exclusive to Toyota Store and Toyota Corolla Store. The Roomy resembles the front of the Alphard. Both vehicles also resembled the rear of the Vellfire and the sides of the Noah and Voxy. The body style is 5-door hatchback. The transmission 5 speed manual transmission or 4-speed automatic or CVT transmission is available.

Both the new Roomy and the new Tank are based on the "1LD-CAR" concept, which combines a spacious interior with ample driving performance, and represent the new compact minivans that are perfect for families with small children, as well as customers with wide-ranging lifestyles. For both models, attractive features, such as a power sliding door for easy entry and exit, a spacious interior, and variable seating configurations have been incorporated into a compact minivan.
